Deb Dorsey is a 2012 graduate from the University of Southern Indiana located just West of Evansville, IN. She is originally from Evansville but has lived in other cities across the United States such as Ludlow, IL., Omaha, NE. and others. Although Deb had strong interests in being an Astronautical Engineer, her passion in Photography and Art led her path in life. Deb began taking pictures from an early age of 8 or 9 years and continued to watch and map the stars at night as she grew into adulthood.
After a few years in the Photographic field, technology transitioned into the digital era. That along with some unexpected life events prompted a return to college to upgrade skills and learn a new way of life."This has been a tremendous journey in life", stated Deb as she reminisced. Deb went on to say, "I could share some tragic life events but my life is no longer defined by tragedy but rather the good that has come from it." Deb graduated with a BS in Art emphasizing Graphic Design. Her hope is to possibly work towards a MFA while working in the field and to give back through teaching at the college level.
